The Genesee River Walk is open to all the community, student or not. Discover native plants, learn about Haudenosaunee history, and reconnect with nature right here on the University of Rochester grounds.
To ensure a safe, welcoming, and respectful experience for everyone:
- Keep dogs leashed at all times
- No littering — trash bins can be easily found around campus
- No drone use — drones are not permitted on or around campus
- This is a smoke-free zone — thank you for keeping the air clean
- Mostly flat gravel and paved paths
- Wheelchair accessible entry points
- Benches and rest areas throughout the trail
- Public restrooms available nearby
